Students are expected to produce a short film based on a given movie and its new genre. The whole idea is to reinterpret and study it, thus giving it a new value. The process continues by manipulating, exploiting and extracting the essence of each movie. The short movie produced must have related scenes, events, characters or connections in any aspects that can be related to the given Malay movie with a little bit of twist and spoof plus creativity.
Movies in relation to architecture has their own distinctive processes. The outcome of each work will gain their own criticism. PROLOGI intends to give basic new ideas in reevaluating each given movie - Malay movies, to be exact. The idea is to look at how we respond to the film that talks about us, Malaysians. Values lie in the process.

Submission:
All movie submission for the ‘Movie Festival’ should be in digital format (soft copy).

Each studio also must submit a digital format poster for their movie which will be printed by the organizer (Terms and Conditions apply).
The posters will be put on display by the organizer.

PROLOG, the Malay word for a beginning; the start of a beautiful journey and a night of new resolutions for the betterment of oneself and the community as a whole. Alas, before we officially start, it is imperative that we gather, sit down together and remind ourselves of the most fundamental ingredient in creating a powered society:

The Opening Dinner Prolog 2009 calls out for each member of the Architecture Department to congregate and throw away our differences to be able to celebrate the many similarities we share while being in the vast architecture field. In stripping us off our superficial exterior barrier, we are left with our humble interior; which reminds us of how deep down, we are all the same.
In accordance to this belief, we as organizers wish for everyone to be able to enjoy the dinner served on sizeable platters meant for sharing (Nasi Dulang) in the spirit of camaraderie. Perhaps, the simplest gestures could lead us to the answers of the biggest problems.

Archi Day Out : Back to Nature mengajak para penuntut senibina uitm untuk bersama2 melupakan timbunan kerja2 dan berehat seketika menghirup udara segar di Hutan Lipur Ulu Yam. Aktiviti ini merupakan sebuah aktiviti spontan yg tidak berperaturan sama sekali. kami hanya mengajak, anda yang menentukan*anda juga digalakkan membawa makanan sendiri. lagi byk lagi bagus. ayam marinated utk berbabi-Q dialu2kan. tempat bbq disediakan. berkongsi kita makan beramai2 sambil merapatkan ukhwah
